Ashtanga / Vinyasa

Embark on an Ashtanga Vinyasa journey that harmoniously combines the powerful sequences of both the First and Second Series, tailored to invigorate and challenge practitioners while respecting individual levels of expertise. This class begins with the rhythmic flow of Sun Salutations, grounding participants and preparing them for the intensity ahead. As the session progresses, it delves into the precise alignment and strength-focused poses of the Primary Series, often followed by the fluid transitions and energizing backbends of the Intermediate Series. This comprehensive exploration of Ashtanga's depth is tailored for beginning students, with the teacher providing appropriate modifications throughout.

Throughout the class, emphasis is placed on breath, bandhas (energy locks), and drishti (gaze points), encouraging a meditative focus and guiding students toward an inner journey of discovery and transformation. Designed to enhance flexibility, strength, and mental clarity, the class concludes with a serene relaxation period, leaving practitioners feeling balanced, rejuvenated, and deeply connected with their practice.

Dharma Yoga

Dharma Yoga, founded by Sri Dharma Mittra, combines traditional yoga elements such as postures, breathing, meditation, and ethical principles into a dynamic practice aimed at enhancing physical strength, flexibility, and mental clarity.

Classes often include meditation, chanting, and discussions on yoga philosophy. Suitable for all levels, Dharma Yoga fosters self-awareness, compassion, and inner peace in practitioners.

Hatha Flow Yoga

Hatha involves a set of physical postures (asanas) and breathing techniques. These are typically practised more slowly and with more static posture holds than a Vinyasa flow or Ashtanga class.

Morning Vinyasa

Vinyasa is a style of yoga where the sequence of poses (asanas) are placed together in an harmonious flow. Each pose is connected with the breath, but the poses are not held for multiple breaths, but they rather are synchronised on a "one breath, one movement" flow.

Movement Meditation

A mindful movement meditation class combines a powerful Qigong and Yoga practice using breath, movement and intention to circulate energy called Qi and move blood to promote health and vitality. While helping to relief stress, shift energy and cultivate a peaceful mind. When done on a regular basis, it helps to prevent illness and promote lonegvity. The practice is a moving meditation mostly done standing, with a seated meditation at the end to bathe in all the good energy, calm the mind and harmonise the Qi flow.

All ages and bodies are welcome and come as you are (no changing of clothes is required).

Progressive Yoga Flow

Progressive Flow: a Vinyasa flow that will take you deep into some more challenging poses. Expect  precise, and detailed cues to break down postures giving you an opportunity to fine tune and advance your practice.

Modifications will always be offered, but we do recommend feeling comfortable in your practice to attend.

Slow Vinyasa

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga that incorporates principles of traditional Chinese medicine, with asanas that are held for longer periods, usually 4 minutes.

In Yin, you will stretch the fascia (the connective tissue that surrounds your organs and muscles) at the same time that you relax and slow down your mind.

Studio Pilates - Small Group is a lively 45-minute session for up to 4 people. Utilising reformer beds, our dynamic workout blends strength, flexibility, and balance exercises. Led by an experienced instructor, this energetic class promises a full-body workout in a supportive group setting.
